As part of our long-term raw material strategy, we have conducted an on-site survey of potential pineapple plantations in Central Uganda, focusing on establishing a reliable and high-quality local supply chain.
Our target site is located in Nakasongola District, approximately 44 kilometers from our processing facility in Luwero. The route is in good condition, with easy access for container trucks and transport vehicles, making it highly suitable for fresh pineapples collection and delivery.
The broader Nakasongola area offers around 15,000 acres of arable land suitable for pineapple cultivation. Among these, we have successfully leased a 1,932-acre estate from a private landlord. We have appointed a team of professional agricultural managers to oversee the entire cultivation process, including pre-planting planning, mid-season operations, and post-harvest management and supervision, ensuring consistent quality and sustainable practices from field to factory.
This site will support our plan to integrate plantation, harvesting, and processing into a streamlined supply chain, ensuring consistent quality, full traceability, and long-term self-sufficiency in raw pineapple sourcing.
We are committed to building a modern and sustainable fruit processing ecosystem in Africa. Through the deep processing of pineapples and other tropical fruits, we deliver natural, healthy, and additive-free products to consumers around the world.
At the same time, we empower local agriculture by partnering with Ugandan farmers and developing our own plantations. Our mission is to enhance the value of local produce, create employment, support community development, and establish a fully traceable farm-to-table global supply chain.
